Honest questions have followed humanity throughout the ages and religions have attempted to give good workable answers to them in order to satisfy man’s need for satisfaction when dealing with the kunundrums of life. Why do good people suffer? What if a person feels they are gay? What about sleeping with your “boyfriend” whom you know is your soul-mate?…and more. These are some of the questions that need to be addressed strongly, head on, and with a certain intellectual brutality. This book, unfortunately, simply spins out answers that could be construed as the result of the advent of the late sixties early seventies. The basic premise for such thinking is that truth is relative which means that ultimately there are no absolutes, which means truth is true for you and not necessarily for me. As long as we both don’t bother each other, it’s all good. Unfortunately, that is not the definition of truth, as a matter of fact, relativism in itself is an absolute statement thus negating it’s basic theory and premise. This book is downright dangerous because it will influence young minds to think incorrectly. All people would love to know God when it boils down to it. The question, of course, is “who is He” or even better “what is He”. This book does nothing to really address that either. Avoid this book if you want to avoid adding to your religious confusion. Know this: This book is antitheical to the Bible. The Bible is very clear about every topic discussed in this book, and since the Bible does claim to be the one and only truth, we have a problem and a challenge: both can’t be true. So I ask you, reader, which one is telling the truth? Seek God, ask Him to tell you Who He is, ask the Lord Jesus (and don’t throw out this review just because I said His name…come on, let’s give everybody a voice otherwise you are just displaying your fear and prejudice)to reveal Himself to you, and watch your life truly change. Easy to read, nice that you can change font size and rotate screen display. Would be nicer if graphics displayed well. Most are either too light or small to see what’s going on and there is no way to zoom.

I purchased the Garmin Forerunner 305 just last week and have had a chance to use it everyday this week. It is exactly what I expected and more. For starters, let me tell you I am a beginner so I can not verify that all of the data collected (pace, distance, hr) are accurate, but they seem pretty close to me. I jog around a lake and I did a google map point to point search and found the Garmin distance was within .2 miles of what Google maps told me. As stated earlier, I am not a beginner. My short term goal is to work my way up to running nonstop for half an hour and work my way up from there. I hope to accomplish this through interval training doing the run/walk method. Guess what?…. You can actually set the Garmin to beep after certain distances or time to let you know you are now in the next interval. I don’t even have to look at the watch… just wait for the beeps. Its incredible. The heart rate monitor seems pretty accurate. Sometimes, I will stop to check pulse and it seems like the Garmin is always within 5 beats of my physical check. Just make sure you have the strap on right side up. One day I had it on upside down and my numbers seemed a little skewed. I love the fact that I can customize what information needs to be displayed on each of the screens. Since I use the interval feature, the first screen will contain information about the lap…number and remaining time. The second screen, I have customized to include additional information about that lap, and the last screen has info about the overall total. I have a whole other screed which I don’t use! Overall, I think its a great product which will give you a wealth of information whether your the beginner or ultra marathoner.
The software that came with the unit is a bit limited. I really have not found a use for it and the map functionality could use an update. I subscribed to the GarminConnect site which was a little bit better but not the best. The good thing about it is you

This is just about the best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever used. My home is undergoing remodeling so we are constantly struggling with dust and other things tracked onto the floors and rugs. This little lightweight vacuum cleans it all up in short order. It’s not too loud (my cat is not afraid of it) and it is easy to switch from upright to the hose and tools. Just one issue – I would prefer the tools to be a little wider. It’s hard to vacuum a chair or couch with a five inch wide upholstery tool.
