Love my Kindle, however I had to return my first one after only a few uses since the unit turned yellow (around the screen and keyboard). Amazon was great to deal with and I had a new Kindle within three days. A great product and a great investment.

I have owned Microsoft Offices – since Word Perfect; who can forget MS Office “Clippy” – the obnoxious paper clip? It is difficult to judge in comparison between the “Clippy” and 2007’s “Ribbon” feature. (Fortunately MS Office 2010 has changed this avenue to being an optional feature – thank goodness!)

Abilities to configure to set according to your preference (Addendum: this may not be an optional function if it is Professional or Business owned and the Corporation and or Company had pre-set the configuration – just so to note for those looking at other MS Office Versions)
CONS:
Time consuming to configure and pre-set everything (make sure you have it configured for ALL DOCUMENTS if you so want this set for ALL DOCUMENTS, otherwise you are going to end up having to configure it every time you open up a new document)

I would have given it a 5 star rating – but for me, I dropped it down by one all because of the danged RIBBONS.
Of note – I have added the above information tips and tricks, for those applications will also apply on MS Office 2010 when you obtain it; the feature will remain the same, sans the Ribbon, which now will become an optional feature, you can put that Ribbon back if you love it ..

I’ll be frank: I was expecting some kind of Oprah’s List-Kmart checkout line work with this book. Something pushed out by a publisher to make a buck. Possibly the cover art made me think this (it’s honestly not very compelling and makes the book seem far more generic than it actually is). So when I was immediately thrown into the early sixties in the deep South, I was startled; and when I fell deeper and deeper into a tangle of family, race, emotions and genuine terror, I found I couldn’t put it down, and was desperate to get to each successive chapter to find out what would happen to these characters I became so quickly invested in. There is an element of storytelling here I have read before, most notably in books like ‘Fried Green Tomatoes’ and ‘Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood,’ but I feel what sets this work apart is the threat of violence which hangs over the heads of the characters like a sword of Damocles. Bravo to the author for elevating a story which could have descended into saccharine cliche into something honestly compelling.

I have owned this product for over a year now and am so happy with it I bought another one! I use it mostly for hiking. It records the entire hike: elevation; speed; heart rate; map of hike; grade; time; distance. You can also use it to record how long it takes to get to the trail head, as well as the route you took to get there. Originally I bought it to use for running, but I found I only had time to run on our treadmill. So I had to buy a foot pod to record the distance I ran. I found the foot pod was quite expensive. When I saw the Garmin Forerunner 50 on sale at Costco for $80 I bought it. The Forerunner 50 has a heart rate monitor and the foot pod. Then I took out the foot pod and sold the HRM on Craigslist for $50. It worked perfectly!
The features on this watch are quite extensive. The size does not bother me a bit. I find you can view up to four different data values at one time. You can fully customize the data you view on multiple screens. I recommend this watch for any hiker who wants to view there progress. It even has a map feature so you can see where you have been, so if you’re going back on the same route that you hiked in on, you will be able to look at the watch and see if you’re on the correct route. Once you download the information into your computer you can make notes about the hike such as the trail you took or the what the weather was like.
You can even use it when you’re driving or boating. I even used it to calculate our fuel consumption when we were boating on Lake Powell in Utah.
So to recap:
You can use it inside on a treadmill
You can use it outside biking, hiking, or running
You can use it driving or boating.
It is a very versatile piece of electronics.
There were only two features I wish the watch would have:
#1 the ambient temperature, so the computer could record it and
#2 a solar feature to recharge the battery. Thanks for reading.

Definite funk factor here: it goes on pure black and you slather it on thick. As far as peel-off masks, it actually does peel off in one or a few pieces. My skin was felt smooth and normal when I took it off–no tightness. I’m 43 with combination skin and live in a humid climate. Again, a nice product, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again. My favorite mask is Body Shop’s Self-Heating mask. Super groovy and my skin looks fab for the rest of the day.

I use this product and it works very well. My only issue is that if I want to hide it when I leave to car, I have to empty out my glove compartment completely to make room.
